The 4th of July has come and gone, and we’re officially in the heart of Tahoe’s summer. Shakespeare at the park has begun the mark of mid-summer. If you’re like most local businesses, you’ve been moving fast—posting updates, sharing event photos, and (hopefully) connecting with new faces. But when’s the last time you looked at your social media the way your customers do?
This week, I’m inviting you to do a quick, mid-summer “audit” of your online presence. The goal isn’t to criticize—it’s to get a clear picture of what’s working, where you might add something fresh, and what you can adjust before the season shifts again.
Bonus tip: Ask a friend or colleague to take a look at your page. Have them click through your posts and links—then tell you honestly what stands out, what’s missing, and what could use a little more clarity.
A quick audit now can save you a lot of time—and help you make the most of the busy weeks ahead. Even small updates can improve your reach and engagement. Plus, it’s easier to tweak things now than scramble later.
And if you’d like a second set of eyes, I’m happy to take a quick look at your feeds and offer a few tailored suggestions. Just hit “reply.”
Let’s make the rest of the summer count.

Nothing better than a good question to jump into.
Reach out for a talk over coffee or a hike, I give information freely. I only ask to be paid when I do the work. tgold@bigwaterci.com
